# asciify.art

> Free ASCII art generator that runs in the browser. Converts images, videos, webcam feeds, animated GIFs and text into ASCII art, with FIGlet banners, ASCII charts, animated backgrounds, a public gallery, a REST API and an MCP server for AI agents.

The main tool pages also answer `Accept: text/markdown` with a markdown version. Image, video and webcam conversion happen client-side; nothing is uploaded.
